Revenue by orders
Displays the total revenue from all products and services in orders for the selected period.
Calculation Principle
Section titled “Calculation Principle”To calculate revenue — discounts are subtracted from the price of each item (product or service), and revenues from products and services in orders are summed.
Included in the calculation are products and services from successfully closed orders, discounts, and returns.
Not included in the calculation:
- orders in statuses from the groups “New”, “In Progress”, “Deferred”, “Ready”;
- orders closed unsuccessfully or with partial payment.
Calculation Example
Section titled “Calculation Example”There were 2 orders during the period:
- Order 1: product — price $2000, discount $200, quantity 2 pcs; service — price $1500, no discount, quantity 1 pc.
- Order 2: product — price $1000, no discount, quantity 1 pc.
Calculate separately:
-
Order 1
Product revenue — (2000 − 200) × 2 = $3600
Service revenue — (1500 − 0) × 1 = $1500
Total order revenue — 3600 + 1500 = $5100
-
Order 2
Product revenue — $1000
Total:
Revenue by orders — 5100 + 1000 = $6100
Result
