Inventory cost price
Displays the total cost of all products in stock based on current inventory.
Calculation Principle
Section titled “Calculation Principle”To calculate the cost of products in stock, the current stock quantity is multiplied by the product’s cost, and then the costs of all products are summed.
Not included in the calculation:
- products with zero stock;
- products without cost;
Calculation Example
Section titled “Calculation Example”Let’s take a current inventory with five products:
- Product A: stock — 5, cost — $20
- Product B: stock — 2, cost — $15
- Product C: stock — 3, cost — $40
- Product D: stock — 19, cost — $10
- Product E: stock — 2, cost — $150
Calculate separately:

Product A:
Cost — 5 × 20 = $100 -
Product B:
Cost — 2 × 15 = $30 -
Product C:
Cost — 3 × 40 = $120 -
Product D:
Cost — 19 × 10 = $190 -
Product E:
Cost — 2 × 150 = $300
Total:
Total cost of all products — 100 + 30 + 120 + 190 + 300 = $740
