Value of Inactive Products
Shows the total current cost of products that were not sold during the selected period and continue to tie up funds in the warehouse.
Calculation Principle
Section titled “Calculation Principle”Products with zero sales during the period and a positive stock balance are displayed. To calculate the total value, multiply the quantity of each product by its cost and sum across all products.
Not included in the calculation:
- products with zero stock (stock = 0)
- unpaid sales
- open orders in statuses “New”, “In Progress”, “Deferred”, “Ready”
Calculation Example
Section titled “Calculation Example”Take the product “Headphones”. No sales occurred during the selected period. There are 10 units in stock. Cost per unit — $500.
Calculate separately:

Sales for the period
Closed orders and paid sales = 0 sales

Stock balance
Current stock — 10 × 500 = $5000
Total for the product:
Sales for the period = 0
Stock = 10 pcs
Stock value = $5000
Days without sales = 30 days
