Notifications on Mobile Devices
If you’re not receiving notifications on your phone or tablet, you may not have the app installed, or notifications may be blocked in your device or browser settings.
Android
Section titled “Android”On Android, notifications depend on two factors:
- Whether notifications are allowed for the site in the browser
- Whether notifications are allowed for the browser itself in device settings
If you’re using Google Chrome
Section titled “If you’re using Google Chrome”- Open HelloClient in Chrome
- Tap the three dots to the right of the site address
- Tap Add to Home screen
- In the window that opens, tap Install
- Open the HelloClient app
- Go to Settings → Your notifications
- Tap Allow
- In the window that appears, tap Allow again
If notifications still aren’t arriving
Section titled “If notifications still aren’t arriving”- Open device Settings
- Go to Notifications
- Find Chrome or Yandex Browser
- Open Notifications → App notifications
- Make sure notifications are enabled for your browser and for the HelloClient app. Android system permissions can block notifications even when site permissions are enabled.
iPhone / iPad
Section titled “iPhone / iPad”- Open HelloClient in Safari
- In the bottom-right corner, tap the three dots → Share → Show More → Add to Home Screen → Add
- Open HelloClient from the icon on your Home Screen
- Open the HelloClient app
- Go to Settings → Your notifications
- Tap Allow
- Allow notifications when prompted
Alternative method
Section titled “Alternative method”- Open Settings on your device
- Go to Notifications
- Find HelloClient in the app list
- Enable notifications for HelloClient
